The floor of the 2007 Convention in New York.
New York Comic Con draws record crowds approaching an estimated of 100,000 attendees. The convention combined with the New York Anime Festival under one roof, and it drew massive crowds of diverse fans. At the event, fans had mixed opinions about the NYCC's size and growing list of guests and compared the convention with the San Diego Comic Con. NYCC is a new and growing convention, and it has only been around since 2006. It held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Midtown Manhattan, so it has a uniquely New York feel due to publishing industry. But at the end, they also said that they still enjoyed the convention and had a great time.
